All about the dark

When I started my research on Manga -- the topic of this site -- Dark Manga, I being very curious to know where it leads. So, I went to my school's library and spoke to the librarians there, and everyone that I spoke with even after, knew so much about Manga, and as their eyes glimmered with excitement,

I thought to myself, "Oh how can this be intersting for everyone?
I mean, those that know enough Manga and those that are curious and don't. I sort of froze. But once I recovered, I looked up the history of Manga in the library and online, went to Kinokuniya and there it was, my theme, "Dark Manga" calling me.

For keepsake, I borrowed Shiver from the library to feel more Manga-like, as I began to design the code in tandem with the look and feel of this site. After reading the first chapter of the book, and feeling eeriely curious, I revisited the bookstore as I romanticized my research journey, and adored some Manga-bies I found there, and here we are. During my experimentation with Manga art, I tried some Generative Ai art creations in AdobeFirefly, with the theme of 'Zombie' Manga in a school and city scenario, about characters who enjoy just the usual human things, but also feel alienated in a new city -- pretty much the feeling I have had during my time and explorations in the past 6+ months of NY.
BTW, It has been super-fun to design an online zine!
